Have you ever imagined what it would be like to see yourself on a television screen? Or, to see how others view you doing what you do best? Local real estate agent and New Fairfield resident, Cory Neumann, will do exactly that!
Last summer, a family from nearby Danbury began their quest to buy the perfect home in the New Fairfield area. They needed a house that provided two separate living spaces and were not having much luck in their search. Barbara, along with daughter, Adriana and granddaughter, Alayna, contacted Cory Neumann of Neumann Real Estate for help in finding a home for their three-generation family. “I started looking to see what we could find to meet their needs,” said Cory. “In-law set-ups are difficult to find in this area.”
While looking at homes in the area, Barbara thought it would be fun to contact the popular reality show, House Hunters, to see if they could appear on the show. To her surprise, the producers asked her to send an audition video. Cory would have to audition as well. “I was definitely nervous to be on TV. As I began filming my audition video, I wondered what I had gotten myself into,” said Cory.
Once Barbara and Cory completed the audition process, the next step, selecting the film crew, was set into motion. Five days were scheduled for filming and the field producer and crew joined Cory in the search for Barbara’s new home.
Neumann Real Estate supplied the most suitable listings for their clients to see. They looked at three houses and spent a full-day of filming on each home. “They were hoping for something in Danbury but were open to other areas due to the difficulty of their home requirements,” said Cory. “We looked at houses in Danbury, Bethel and New Fairfield and, ultimately, the buyers chose the home which had most of what they were looking for.”
To see local realtor Cory Neumann and his clients select their perfect home, tune-in to House Hunters next Monday, February 19 at 8pm on HGTV.
