The Annual New Fairfield Lions Club’s July 4th Parade will take place on Monday, July 4th, 2022. The parade Kicks Off at 9:30am on CT-Route 37 and continues into the center of town turning right onto Brush Hill Road continuing past the Grandstand in front of Town Hall. An awards ceremony with the presentation of trophies for best floats and groups in the parade will take place at the Lions Gazebo on Memorial Field. Snacks and beverages will be served by the New Fairfield Lions Club.
You are welcome to bring your lawn chairs to relax and enjoy the parade. The best areas to set up your chairs and blankets will be along Route 37 from the Senior Center down to the traffic light and on the grassy areas in front of the library and across the road at the shopping center. Warning, many families in town get an early start and set up their family’s traditional viewing spot hours before the parade. Wear your “Best & Brightest” Red, White & Blue outfits and make signs and banners to celebrate the Fourth of July. We also welcome all those viewing the parade to take lots of photos of themselves, their family, the parade and post them on the New Fairfield Lions Club Facebook page: www.facebook.com/newfairfieldlionsclub
